The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is the National Prosecuting Authority in Kenya, mandated by the Constitution to prosecute all criminal cases in the country. This position for Research Officer is intended to support the prosecutorial functions of the office through rigorous data management and thematic research.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
Academic Background: A Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Law, Science, Sociology, Criminology, Psychology, or any other relevant qualifications from a recognized institution.
Professional Membership: Membership to any professional body as per the specific discipline.
Technical Competence: A certificate of competence from a recognized institution in:
Constitutional Compliance: Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
