KCB Bank Kenya is seeking a Relationship Manager for SAHL Banking at the Lamu Branch. This role is responsible for leading customer relations for both corporate and retail segments, driving the growth of the SAHL portfolio through the sale of Shari'ah-compliant products, and managing risk to ensure portfolio health.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Managing and leading customer relations for both corporate and Retail.
Sales & Growth: Driving sales of Shari’ah-compliant products and other cross-sales of products as per targets. Responsible for the leadership, management, growth, and maintenance of the SAHL book.
Strategic Liaison: Collaboration with Relationship teams and the Retail Branch network to grow the business.
Risk Management: Mitigating losses such as fraud and revenue leakages; managing Portfolio at Risk (PAR) according to set targets.
Staff Development: Training and development of branch staff on SAHL products.
Portfolio Administration: Proper documentation and administration of Shari’ah-compliant portfolios.
Customer Service: Monitoring and managing SAHL customer complaints while constantly reviewing service delivery standards to ensure maintenance of the highest service standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc/HND).
Certification: Islamic Banking Certification is an added advantage.
General Experience: At least 3 years of general work experience.
Specialized Experience:
2 years of experience in Banking Operations.
2 years of experience in Credit.
2 years of experience in Sales & Relationship management.
