Established in 1951, IOM is the leading inter-governmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental, and non-governmental partners. The Regional Programme Specialist will coordinate the implementation of the Regional Responses to Climate Displacement (RE2CLID) programme at the regional level. This role involves facilitating timely and coherent decision-making, leading regional activities, and developing strategic partnerships to address climate-induced migration challenges.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Coordinate programme implementation at the regional level and facilitate harmonized decision-making across the action.\n* Lead the planning of regional activities and actively develop partnerships with stakeholders to identify resource mobilization opportunities that amplify impact and sustainability.\n* In coordination with Managing Missions and the Global Office (GO) Brussels, engage regularly with the European Commission on overall programme strategy and participate in Regional Steering Committees.\n* Ensure alignment with donor requirements and compliance with IOM's institutional project management policies, including financial management, HR, reporting, visibility, and risk management.\n* Ensure the development and use of harmonized systems, procedures, and tools for planning, implementation, and monitoring; provide capacity development to missions on their use.\n* Provide day-to-day technical guidance and support to implementing missions, conduct regular in-country deployments, and ensure integration of global policy directions into programming.\n* Identify needs for additional technical support and mobilize internal/external resources in coordination with Managing missions and Regional Thematic Specialists.\n\n### Qualifications and Experience\n* In International Development, International Relations, Social Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Disaster Management, or a related field with at least seven (7) years of relevant professional experience.\n* In the same fields with at least nine (9) years of relevant professional experience.\n* Strong background in program management, donor compliance (specifically European Commission), and regional coordination.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply through the IOM career portal on the Oracle Cloud platform at
