The Regional Mentor - Clean Cooking accelerates field capability and sales effectiveness for Sun King’s Clean Cooking product line through structured training delivery, hands-on field coaching, and continuous reinforcement. The role ensures agents can confidently profile customers, execute sales processes correctly, and activate quickly post-training. By translating classroom learning into consistent field execution, the Regional Mentor strengthens agent performance in real selling environments and drives improved adoption and sales outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery: Plan, conduct, and deliver product, process, and training knowledge sessions to field staff and agents in collaboration with the Country Training Lead.
Field Support: Provide sales, installation, and delivery teams with the knowledge, coaching, and field support required to effectively onboard, serve, and safely deliver Clean Cooking solutions.
Field Insights: Observe, collect, and share field insights through feedback tools to address capability gaps and continuously improve operational outcomes.
Content Improvement: Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training curriculum by providing field insights and helping design practical learning interventions.
Digital Learning Adoption: Drive regional digital learning completion to achieve an 80% threshold through agent follow-up and monitoring on the Litmos LMS platform.
App Usage: Support and ensure full adoption and effective usage of the Sales & Retail apps among field staff through ongoing training and coaching.
Onboarding: Collaborate on the onboarding, induction, and mentoring of new field staff and agents.
Quality Audits: Support customer experience audits by observing field implementation and providing structured feedback.
Requirements and Qualifications
At least 2 years’ experience in training and coaching, preferably in sales or marketing environments.
A Bachelor's degree (Degree in education or a related field is an added advantage).
Ability to design and facilitate effective learning environments for diverse field teams.
Strong diligence, accuracy, reliability, and commitment to delivery excellence.
Fluency in English, Kiswahili, and relevant local languages within assigned regions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualization or reporting tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Flexibility to travel frequently, including to remote locations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) like Litmos is an added advantage.
