Job Description

As a Regional Administration Volunteer, you will gain insight into the day-to-day operations of a nimble, results-oriented, high-growth nonprofit organization. Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Representation: Represent Asante Africa Foundation Kenya in meetings with schools, county officials, and community stakeholders at the regional level.
Reporting: Ensure timely preparation and submission of activity and administrative reports to supervisors and relevant authorities.
Financial Records: Receive, verify, and maintain accurate records of staff imprests and retirement submissions.
Program Support: Support program implementation, including trainings, follow-ups, monitoring visits, and documentation.
Community Engagement: Organize and facilitate parent meetings in collaboration with school management.
Mentorship: Mentor youth in schools and support school-based clubs in line with program objectives in the respective regions.
Database Management: Establish, maintain, and regularly update a comprehensive regional alumni database.
Communication: Maintain consistent communication and engagement with alumni through meetings, calls, and digital platforms.
Coordination: Plan and coordinate alumni meetings, mentorship sessions, and networking forums.
Impact Tracking: Track alumni progress, achievements, and challenges, and document success stories for reporting and communication.
M&E Support: Support monitoring and evaluation activities by collecting and submitting alumni-related data and reports.
Job Specifications
Education: Diploma or Certificate in Business Administration, Education, Social Sciences, Development Studies or a related field. A Bachelor's degree is an added advantage.
Affiliation: Must be an Alumnus from Asante Africa Foundation programs as an implementer or beneficiary (e.g., Wezesha Vijana, Youth Livelihood, Scholarship, or DEEP apprentice).
Leadership: Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
Organization: Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
Documentation: Strong report writing and documentation skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic computer applications including MS Office and email communication.
Experience: Experience working with schools, youth, and community stakeholders is highly desirable.
Context: Familiarity with the education system and cultural context of Kenya is a plus.
Residency: The applicant must be a resident of Narok, Marsabit, Turkana, or Wamba.
