Job Description
Nakuru County Government is seeking to recruit two (2) Records Management Officer III to oversee the systematic management and maintenance of official records. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that information is handled efficiently, from the initial receipt of correspondence to the final disposal of files, facilitating smooth administrative operations within the county.
Responsibilities
Mail Management: Receiving, sorting, opening, filing, minuting, and distribution of mail to ensure timely communication flow.
Dispatching: Handling the dispatch of outgoing mail and correspondence.
File Disposal: Guiding and implementing file disposal processes in accordance with established records management protocols.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) mean grade C (plain) from the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Professional Qualification: Diploma in Records/Information Management or equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
IT Skills: Certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
