Westland Medical Centre is a healthcare facility providing a range of services including GP and Nurse appointments, minor surgery, ECGs, vaccinations, and more. We are currently seeking a qualified Radiographer / Sonographer to join our medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic and ultrasound examinations to assist in patient diagnosis while maintaining strict safety and ethical standards.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality radiographic and ultrasound examinations in line with established clinical protocols.
Ensure accurate imaging, proper patient positioning, and strict adherence to radiation safety standards.
Interpret basic findings and escalate appropriately to the Radiologist.
Maintain imaging equipment and ensure proper documentation of all procedures.
Uphold professional and ethical standards in patient care.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and licensing requirements.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Radiography and Medical Imaging.
Additional certification/training in Sonography.
Valid practicing license in Radiography and Sonography.
Registration with the relevant professional body.
Minimum five (5) years' proven working experience in a busy hospital setting.
Strong knowledge of radiation protection standards and ultrasound best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
