Quantitative Interviewer

Responsibilities

• Attend all scheduled training and data collection sessions.
• Obtain and document informed consent from study participants prior to conducting interviews.
• Conduct and record interviews using digital recorders and electronic data capture devices.
• Participate in daily debriefing meetings with the project team.
• Act as a custodian of APHRC data collection equipment during fieldwork.
• Strictly follow safeguarding procedures throughout the data engagement process.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Education: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) certificate with a minimum grade of C (plain).
• Technical Skills: Experience in electronic data capture methods such as SurveyCTO and proficiency in using electronic digital recorders.
• Residency: Must be a resident of Nairobi County.
• Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English and Swahili. Proficiency in a local language is an added advantage.
• Availability: Must be available to work full-time for the entire duration of the project.
• Soft Skills: High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
