Job Description
Role Overview
To ensure quality issues on stocks and all warehouse operations are identified, managed, and resolved in compliance with set quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Quality Checks: Perform daily checks on pallets for non-conformance and other related quality issues on factory receipts; prepare a monthly analysis and share it with the management.
Non-Conforming Products Management: Identify and segregate non-conforming products in the warehouses.
Short Expiry Goods Documentation Processing: Process documents for goods with short expiry dates in the warehouse and ensure accurate recording and tracking of short expiry goods.
STO Retrieval: Retrieve STOs (UD1 & KB1) as per operational requirements.
Reporting: Prepare customer-related quality issues reports and share them with the management on a weekly basis.
Inspection of Returns: Inspect goods returned from the market (either rejected by the client or damaged) and prepare a customer complaint analysis.
Quality Compliance: Interpret and support quality policies and implement guidelines to ensure compliance with quality standards and client's requirements.
Risk Assessment: Conduct Quality risk assessments, develop mitigation measures, and constantly evaluate them for relevance. Act as the owner of root cause analysis in case of nonconforming batches to be submitted to management for further action.
Housekeeping Inspection: Conduct housekeeping inspections on a daily basis.
Profile & Requirements
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Food Sciences or equivalent.
3 years of related experience and/or training.
Training in MS Office suite.
