Role Overview
Flexi-Personnel is seeking Qualitative Interviewers for a research project based in Kisumu. The primary purpose of this role is to collect high-quality qualitative data through direct interaction with study participants, ensuring ethical standards and data integrity throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities
Respondent Consent: Obtaining informed consent from study respondents before commencing interviews and group discussions.
Data Collection: Conducting qualitative interviews, focus groups, and participant observations according to the study protocol.
Documentation: Taking detailed field notes and writing comprehensive debriefing reports for all interviews and sessions conducted.
Data Quality & Confidentiality: Ensuring the accuracy of data collected and maintaining strict confidentiality of all participant information.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring the safety and proper handling of all data collection tools and equipment assigned for the project.
Coordination: Performing any other related activities as assigned by the project coordinator.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education.
Experience: Proven experience and specific skills in qualitative research methodologies.
Language Skills: Ability to facilitate interviews and group discussions fluently in both English and Swahili.
Location: Must be a current resident of Kisumu or the target counties.
Availability: Must be fully available for the training period and the entire duration of the data collection exercise.
Sector Knowledge: Experience working in a school setting is required.
