The Project Sales Officer at Safal Group is responsible for driving the growth and market presence of Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) as a core business line. The primary goal is to accelerate market penetration to achieve maximum levels of volume, revenue, yield, and profitability. The role involves identifying and managing customer accounts, opening new markets, and ensuring a seamless sales process from inquiry to collection.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution: Proactively identify, engage in, and drive the sale of Pre-Engineered steel buildings based on targeted customers. Build go-to-market strategies for Building Solutions including traded and manufactured accessories.
Market Development: Identify and create opportunities and solutions in new markets while developing and managing sales within existing and new channels.
Performance Targets: Meet monthly volume and revenue targets for the Pre-engineered steel Building product line.
Order Management: Track inquiries, manage conversion to orders, and ensure customer orders are processed efficiently and billed in a timely manner.
Financial Accountability: Meet and deliver collection targets from project customers as per payment terms. Prepare weekly reports on payment collections, inquiries, won projects, and lost orders.
Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain relationships with the influencer community, including Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Structural Engineers, the contracting community, and key end-users.
Collaboration: Liaise with cross-functional teams and partners to develop tailored value propositions for targeted customers.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum academic qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Management, Engineering, or an Equivalent Technical Qualification.
Added Advantage: Postgraduate qualifications such as an MBA or a Diploma in Sales and Marketing.
Professional Registration: Registration with relevant Sales, Marketing, or Engineering professional bodies.
Experience:
General Experience: At least 5 years in technical sales, preferably within the Steel Industry or Building/Construction Materials sector.
Specific Experience: At least 3 years specifically dealing with Light Gauge Cold Formed Steel or Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB).
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Steel, Building, and Construction industries.
