The Program Officer at CURE International bridges the gap between donors and the hospital's programs. This role involves comprehensive reporting, patient documentation, and content creation to demonstrate the impact of donor-funded initiatives. The officer will work closely with clinical teams and patients to ensure high-quality data and storytelling are maintained for organizational transparency and donor satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Donor Reporting: Compile assigned donor reports accurately and on time, ensuring a deep understanding of specific donor needs and project requirements.
Program Monitoring: Follow up on patient-donor-funded programs to ensure all beneficiary and CURE requirements are met punctually.
Content Coordination: Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to gather verification materials and evidence of implementation for project activities.
Patient Profiling: Collect patient information to build comprehensive profiles according to donor guidelines, including one-on-one documentation of progress.
Fieldwork and Outreach: Travel frequently to clinics for patient follow-up, identification of new beneficiaries requiring financial support, and reporting on mobile clinic activities.
Beneficiary Engagement: Update profiles through direct conversations and home visits to document the long-term impact of programs.
Digital Management: Handle online donor correspondence and ensure all digital information regarding program status is updated.
Quality Assurance: Execute all activities in alignment with hospital standards and maintain thorough documentation of hospital operations.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma or Degree in Project Management or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
At least three (3) years of work experience in a similar position.
Demonstrated proficiency in photography, videography, and professional writing.
Deep knowledge of social media platforms and their features.
Prior experience working with children or in a hospital setup is a significant advantage.
