Coordinating all phases of production, including planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities to ensure products are produced within the constraints of time, cost, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Provide essential support to Production Supervisors in organizing and executing activities related to production processes. This support is crucial in ensuring that the workflow is efficient and that all tasks are completed on time.
Ensure that the planning schedule is effectively communicated to supervisors of both day and night shifts, enabling appropriate resource allocation.
Upload details of new job orders into the access database for machine loading and management.
Request each job and track the issuance of necessary materials from the store using the SAP system.
Transfer ready or completed jobs to the dispatch department and track print jobs from start to finish until dispatched.
Generate monthly reports on material consumption to gain insights into inventory usage.
Conduct monthly stock takes to maintain accurate inventory records.
Assess work in progress on the production floor, counting and evaluating stock items, and create detailed reports.
Generate status reports for jobs pending completion, detailing progress and remaining material requirements.
Ascertain that all materials required for planned jobs are readily available on the floor.
Verify invoices submitted by contractors against completed work before scanning for Local Purchase Orders (LPOs).
Organize the generation of Local Purchase Orders and create Good Received Notes (GRN) for outsourced jobs.
Follow up on material requisitions to ensure timely issuance through the ERP system.
Coordinate and acquire miscellaneous items necessary for production, keeping accurate records of usage.
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma in Printing Technology from a recognized institution.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet production demands and deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing effective collaboration with team members and other stakeholders.
