Role Overview
This position is the entry and training level for the Photojournalist/Videographer Assistant cadre within the Public Service Commission of Kenya. An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a senior officer to support the organization's media and communication efforts through visual storytelling.
Duties and Responsibilities
Photography: Taking and processing of high-quality photographs for various organizational needs.
Captioning: Writing accurate and descriptive captions for captured images.
Documentation: Documenting news, information, and features through professional photography.
Darkroom Services: Providing darkroom services as required.
Digitization: Scanning and digitizing photographs for archival and digital use.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Diploma in Photojournalism or Photography from a recognized institution.
