Equity Afia is a group of qualified and experienced doctors who have come together as a network of medical entrepreneurs with the aim of providing high quality, affordable and accessible healthcare to the majority of Kenyans. The network is currently seeking a qualified Pharmaceutical Technologist for its Kiserian Medical Centre.
Responsibilities
Manage pharmacy operations including dispensing medications accurately to patients.
Provide counseling to patients on the proper use, dosage, and potential side effects of medications.
Maintain accurate records of inventory and patient prescriptions.
Collaborate with other medical staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Utilize Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) for reporting and documentation.
Requirements and Qualifications
Degree in Pharmacy or Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
At least 3 years post-internship working experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Registered and with a valid license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
Proficiency in computer skills (especially Health Management Information Systems).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
