Job Description

Excel Academy, located in Kawangware, Nairobi County, is seeking experienced ECD/P1 teachers to join their faculty. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching across various levels including Playgroup (PG), PP1, PP2, and Grades 1, 2, and 3. This position is available immediately and offers a comprehensive benefits package including on-site accommodation and professional growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality instruction to students in Playgroup, PP1, PP2, and Grades 1 to 3.
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in line with the curriculum.
Maintain high standards of classroom performance and personal integrity.
Participate in continuous professional development sessions provided by the school throughout the year.
Ensure a conducive and safe learning environment for all pupils.
Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to school management and parents.

Requirements and Qualifications

Must have a valid TSC (Teachers Service Commission) certificate.
Must possess an Education Certificate (BA/BSc/HND, Diploma, or relevant teaching certification).
At least two (2) years of teaching experience is required.
Specialist certification in ECD or P1 is essential.
Must be available to commence work immediately.
Tenure is strictly based on performance and integrity.

Starting Salary: KES 15,000 gross (timely payment guaranteed).
