Cerba Lancet Kenya Limited (formerly known as Pathologists Lancet Kenya), a leading pathology laboratory service provider in Africa, is seeking a qualified Payable Accountant. The role involves managing accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate financial recording, and providing essential support to the finance department within the medical industry context.
Responsibilities
Manage invoicing processes with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Perform and oversee accounts reconciliations.
Handle financial postings and follow-ups on outstanding items.
Contribute to the preparation of financial reporting.
Maintain a client-oriented approach in all communications.
Ensure all accounts support activities are carried out effectively and within deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting option). A Master's degree is considered an added advantage.
Professional Certification: CPA (K) qualification is required.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar accounts support or payables role.
Industry Knowledge: Experience within the medical sector or a similar industry is required.
