AIC Kijabe Hospital is looking for a qualified Part-time Tutor to join our academic team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality instruction and training within our health science programs, with a particular focus on Perioperative Theatre Technology. This role involves both classroom-based teaching and practical clinical instruction to help prepare students for professional practice.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver theoretical and practical lessons in the Perioperative Theatre Technology program.
Provide hands-on training and instruction to students in clinical/laboratory settings.
Develop and update course materials, lesson plans, and assessments in line with curriculum guidelines.
Evaluate and monitor student academic performance, providing guidance and constructive feedback.
Support students in achieving learning outcomes at different instruction levels within the program.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Diploma in Perioperative Theatre Technology.
Licensing: Valid practicing license.
Registration: Active registration with TVETA / CDACC.
Experience:
A minimum of two (2) years of Health Sciences teaching or training experience within an educational/clinical setting; OR
A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
Instructional Skills: Proven ability to provide comprehensive instruction at various learning levels.
