Mama Ngina University College (MNUC) is a student-centered institution that produces innovative, scientifically grounded, and ethical graduates. The college is currently seeking qualified individuals to serve as Part-Time Lecturers in the field of Procurement & Supply Chain Management. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering academic content to students, ensuring a high standard of teaching, and contributing to the development of market-driven degree programs designed to enable students to develop hands-on skills necessary for job creation and employment.
Responsibilities
Deliver lectures in Procurement and Supply Chain Management units as assigned.
Prepare and maintain instructional materials and curriculum plans.
Assess student performance through assignments, examinations, and project work.
Provide guidance and mentorship to students to support their academic and career growth.
Contribute to the development and review of academic programs to ensure market relevance.
Engage in research and publish work in refereed journals where applicable (specifically for postgraduate teaching).
Adhere to the ethical and professional standards of the university college.
Requirements for Appointment
Option 1: A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant field from a recognized University.
Option 2: A Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or industry experience.
Professional Requirements
Evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (especially for postgraduate teaching).
