Part Time Lecturers - Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management

The Open University of Kenya aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students.

This role is for Part Time Lecturers specializing in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering quality academic instruction and supporting students within the university's flexible learning environment.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

To be considered for this grade, candidates MUST meet the following criteria:

• Academic Qualification (Option 1): An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University.
• Academic Qualification (Option 2 - Special Cases): A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University, combined with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level, and registration in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
• Technical Skills: Be computer literate with the ability to handle digital content (required for all posts).
• Online Support: Demonstrate the ability to support students online (specifically for part-time lecturers).
