Role Overview
The Open University of Kenya is seeking qualified Part-time Lecturers specializing in Evaluation and Reporting. The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering virtual learning and distance education programs, leveraging modern instructional technology, and supporting students in their academic journey.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver online lectures and instructional content in the subject area of Evaluation and Reporting.
Develop, curate, and handle digital content appropriate for distance learning.
Provide virtual support, guidance, and academic mentorship to students.
Evaluate student coursework, examinations, and project reports, providing constructive and timely feedback.
Maintain academic records and report on student progress as required.
Requirements & Qualifications
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR a Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level and registered in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
Must be computer literate with a proven ability to handle digital content and support students online.
Up-to-date registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
