The Open University of Kenya (OUK) aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students, enabling them to pursue higher education.
OUK is currently seeking Part-Time Lecturers specializing in Computer Graphics.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
For appointment to this grade, applicants MUST meet the following requirements:
Academic Qualification:
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University. OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at university level and registered in good standing for a PhD in the relevant field.
Professional Competencies:
Be computer literate with the ability to handle digital content (applicable for all posts).
Possess the ability to support student online learning (specifically for part-time lecturers).
