Required Qualifications and Competencies

For appointment to this grade, candidates MUST meet the following required qualifications and competencies:

Educational Qualifications

1. An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR
2. A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years teaching experience at the university level and registered in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.

Experience and Skills

• A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level (required if qualifying via Master's degree route).
• Be computer literate with the ability to handle digital content (for all posts).
• Possess the ability to support students online (specifically for part-time lecturers).
