Part-Time Lecturers - Animal Nutrition and Feeds

The Role

This role as a Part-Time Lecturer in Animal Nutrition and Feeds involves delivering specialized academic instruction within this field. This is primarily facilitated through online and distance learning platforms. Successful candidates must be proficient in managing digital content and providing strong academic support to students remotely.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

For appointment to this grade, candidates MUST meet the following requirements:

1. Primary Qualification (PhD): An earned Ph.D. or an equivalent degree qualification in Animal Nutrition and Feeds (or a closely related relevant field) from an accredited University.
2. Alternative Qualification (Master's - in special cases): A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University, AND at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level, AND current registration in good standing for a PhD in the relevant field.
3. Digital Literacy: Must be computer literate with demonstrated ability to handle and manage digital content (required for all posts).
4. Online Pedagogy: Demonstrated ability to support and effectively teach students online (specifically required for part-time lecturers).
