We are seeking a Part-Time Lecturer specialized in Trauma & Emergency Nursing to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality instruction and contributing to the development of the nursing department.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials in Trauma & Emergency Nursing.
Develop, review, and update course materials and curriculum components.
Supervise and evaluate student performance through assignments, practicals, and examinations.
Provide academic mentorship and guidance to students.
Maintain professional standards and contribute to the academic excellence of the university college.
Engage in research and publish findings in refereed journals (particularly for postgraduate instruction).
Requirements for Appointment
Academic Qualifications: A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant field from a recognized University; OR a Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or industry experience.
Professional Requirements: Evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration: Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Research: Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (especially for postgraduate teaching).
