Bomet University College is seeking qualified applicants to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students as Part-Time Lecturers in Statistics.
Job Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and instruction in Statistics to university students.
Support student development through academic training, guidance, and mentorship.
Conduct relevant academic research and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for appointment, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in Statistics or a relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Provide evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) or National Qualification Authority (NQA).

A detailed Curriculum Vitae clearly outlining personal details, academic and professional background, teaching experience, and any other relevant information.
Certified copies of academic and professional certificates, transcripts, letters of appointment showing evidence of university-level teaching experience, National ID or passport, testimonials, other supporting documents, and a certificate of recognition for foreign degrees (where applicable).
