Bomet University College is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Part-Time Lecturer in Special Needs Education (SNE) - Visual Impairment. Successful applicants will support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality teaching, training, and instruction to university students in Special Needs Education (SNE) specializing in Visual Impairment.
Provide academic guidance, advisory, and mentorship support to students.
Participate in curriculum delivery, student assessment, grading, and examination processes.
Support the department's core educational objectives and mandates.
Requirements for Appointment
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Clear evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) or the National Qualification Authority (NQA).
