Bomet University College is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Part-Time Lecturer - SNE Physical Impairment. Successful applicants will be expected to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Key Responsibilities
Support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Deliver lectures and course content in Special Needs Education (SNE) with a specialization in Physical Impairment.
Conduct evaluations, set examinations, and assess student performance.
Guide and mentor students in their academic and professional development.
Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for appointment to the Bomet University Service, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) or National Qualification Authority (NQA).
