Role Overview
Successful applicants will be expected to support Bomet University College's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students. This position specifically focuses on Special Needs Education (SNE) with a specialization in Emotional and Behavioural Disorders.
Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for appointment, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Provide evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) or the National Qualification Authority (NQA).

All interested candidates must submit two (2) hard copies of their application, comprising a formal application letter, a detailed Curriculum Vitae, and certified copies of academic and professional certificates, transcripts, letters of appointment, National ID/passport, and testimonials. A soft copy in PDF running format must also be sent to the university's designated recruitment email.
