Successful applicants will be expected to support Bomet University College's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students in the area of Pure Mathematics.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures, training, and tutorials in Pure Mathematics.
Mentor and guide students in their academic and research pursuits.
Support the department's academic goals and participate in student evaluation and assessments.
Requirements for Appointment
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field (Pure Mathematics) from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level (evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements).
Provide evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) / National Qualification Authority (NQA).
