Key Responsibilities
Support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Develop course materials, deliver lectures, and facilitate tutorials in the Public Health field.
Evaluate and grade students' coursework, research projects, and examinations.
Offer academic advisory services and guidance to students.
Undertake research and publish findings in refereed academic journals.
Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for appointment to the Bomet University Service, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in Public Health or a relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Show evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
For applicants with foreign academic qualifications, recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) or National Qualification Authority (NQA) must be provided.

All interested candidates must submit two (2) hard copies of their application, comprising the following:
A formal application letter specifying the applicant's area of specialization, academic qualifications, work experience, and current place of employment.
A detailed Curriculum Vitae clearly outlining personal details, academic and professional background, teaching experience, and any other relevant information.
Certified copies of academic, professional certificates, and transcripts.
Letters of appointment showing evidence of university-level teaching experience.
National ID or passport.
Testimonials and other supporting documents.
A certificate of recognition for foreign degrees (where applicable).
