About the Role
Bomet University College is seeking qualified and dedicated individuals to fill the position of Part-Time Lecturer in Penology, Correction and Administration. Successful applicants will be expected to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentoring students.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and instruction in Penology, Correction, and Administration.
Undertake teaching, training, and mentorship of university students.
Support student academic and career development.
Evaluate student performance through assignments, coursework, and examinations.
Contribute to academic excellence and scholarly activities within the department.
Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for appointment, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level, evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Show evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE)/National Qualification Authority (NQA).

Academic, professional certificates, and Transcripts.
Letters of appointment showing evidence of university-level teaching experience.
National ID or passport.
Testimonials and other supporting documents.
A certificate of recognition for foreign degrees (where applicable).
The copies of the application should be sent via registered mail or courier clearly marked 'Part-time Application' on the envelope to the address below.
