Mama Ngina University College (MNUC) is seeking a qualified and experienced individual to serve as a Part-Time Lecturer in the field of Monitoring & Evaluation. The successful candidate will join a student-centered institution dedicated to producing innovative, ethical, and holistic graduates. This role is essential for delivering market-driven academic content and providing hands-on skills training in modern state-of-the-art facilities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver lectures and tutorials to students in Monitoring & Evaluation courses.
Develop, update, and manage course materials and curricula to ensure market relevance.
Assess and evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical projects.
Conduct academic research and, where applicable, contribute to publications in refereed journals.
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students to support their professional and personal growth.
Engage in departmental activities and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning environment.
Requirements for Appointment
Qualifications
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Monitoring & Evaluation or a relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or industry experience.
Professional Requirements
Documented evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals is an added advantage (particularly for postgraduate teaching).
