The university college is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced Part-Time Lecturers in the field of Midwifery & Obstetric Nursing.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and practical instruction in Midwifery and Obstetric Nursing.
Facilitate student learning through innovative pedagogical methods and clinical supervision.
Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, examinations, and clinical assessments.
Contribute to the development and review of curriculum materials to ensure relevance to industry standards.
Participate in research activities and mentor students in their academic pursuits.
Maintain professional standards and ethics in accordance with the university and professional bodies.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years University teaching / Industry experience.
Professional Requirements:
Evidence of teaching experience at University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (specifically for postgraduate teaching).
