Bomet University College is seeking part-time lecturers to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students within the Meteorological Studies/Geography department.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and training in Meteorological Studies and Geography.
Provide mentorship and academic advising to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Support the university's research mandate and engage in critical scientific inquiries.
Prepare coursework, administer examinations, and grade student assessments.
Requirements for Appointment
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at university level (evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements).
Provide evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) or National Qualification Authority (NQA).

A detailed Curriculum Vitae clearly outlining personal details, academic and professional background, teaching experience, and any other relevant information.
Certified copies of academic and professional certificates, transcripts, National ID or passport, testimonials, and letters of appointment showing evidence of university-level teaching experience.
A certificate of recognition for foreign degrees (where applicable).
