Role Purpose
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and instruction in the field of Medical Entomology, contributing to the academic development of students and the institution's research objectives.
Responsibilities
Deliver lectures and instructional materials in Medical Entomology.
Conduct assessments, mark exams, and provide feedback to students.
Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional growth.
Participate in departmental activities and research initiatives.
Ensure all teaching activities align with the university's quality standards and ethics.
Qualifications and Experience
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years University teaching or Industry experience.
Evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (especially for postgraduate teaching).
