Job Description

Rongo University is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Part-Time Lecturer in Media and Security Studies.

Role Overview

The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching, conducting lectures, and facilitating learning in the field of Media and Security Studies. They will also guide and evaluate students to ensure academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver comprehensive lectures to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students in Media and Security Studies.
Develop and update course outlines, reading lists, and instructional materials.
Supervise student research projects, practicals, and coursework.
Assess and grade students' assignments, tests, and examinations fairly and timely.
Offer academic mentorship and guidance to students.
Maintain accurate academic records and grades.

Requirements and Qualifications

An earned PhD or a Master’s degree in Media Studies, Security Studies, or a relevant field from a recognized University.
Relevant teaching experience at University level or equivalent experience in research or industry.
