About the Role
The university is seeking qualified and experienced individuals for the position of Part-time Lecturer - Learning Technologies and Educational Change. The successful candidate will facilitate online learning and support students in a virtual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver high-quality online lectures and instructional content in Learning Technologies and Educational Change.
Facilitate student learning, engagement, and online interaction through the university's learning management system (LMS).
Support and mentor students remotely to ensure academic success and guide them through course materials.
Evaluate and grade student assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
Utilize digital platforms and educational technologies to manage coursework, upload educational content, and track student progress.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years teaching experience at university level and registered in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
Must be computer literate with a proven ability to handle digital content and support students online.
Strong communication and pedagogical skills suitable for an online learning environment.
