The institution is seeking to recruit a qualified Part-Time Lecturer for the Infectious Diseases & Vaccinology department.
Responsibilities
Delivery of lectures and academic instruction in the specialized field of Infectious Diseases & Vaccinology.
Development and design of course materials and curricula aligned with industry needs.
Facilitating student development and providing hands-on skills necessary for job creation.
Conducting assessments, marking examinations, and providing academic feedback to students.
Mentoring students and providing guidance on research and academic progress.
Participating in departmental activities and ensuring compliance with university quality standards.
Requirements for Appointment
Candidates must meet the following qualifications and professional requirements:
Academic Qualifications:
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years University teaching or industry experience.
Professional Requirements:
Evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (specifically for postgraduate teaching).
Note: Lack of evidence supporting University teaching experience will lead to disqualification.
