Mama Ngina University College (MNUC) is a student-centered institution dedicated to producing innovative, scientifically grounded, ethical, and holistic graduates. We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join our faculty as a Part-Time Lecturer in Immunology. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission by delivering market-driven academic programmes and fostering hands-on skills necessary for student success and job creation.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions in the field of Immunology.
Facilitate student learning through innovative teaching methods and modern research facilities.
Assess and evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, and practical tests.
Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students to ensure holistic development.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum and teaching materials.
Participate in research and other academic activities as required by the college.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology or a relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in Immunology or a relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or industry experience.
Professional and Other Requirements
Evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (specifically for postgraduate teaching).
A detailed Curriculum Vitae and copies of academic certificates/testimonials.
Letters of appointment as a lecturer or other relevant supporting documents.
