Bomet University College is seeking qualified applicants to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students in the field of History.
Core Mandate
Teaching & Training: Deliver lectures, prepare course materials, and assess student performance in History courses.
Mentorship: Support and guide students in their academic and professional development.
Requirements for Appointment
To qualify for appointment to Bomet University Service, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
Academic Qualification: Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field (History) from a recognized university.
Teaching Experience: Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at university level, evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Research and Publications: Evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Foreign Qualifications: Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) or National Qualification Authority (NQA).
How to Apply
All interested candidates must submit two (2) hard copies of their application, comprising the following:
A formal application letter specifying the applicant's area of specialization, academic qualifications, work experience, and current place of employment.
A detailed Curriculum Vitae clearly outlining personal details, academic and professional background, teaching experience, and any other relevant information.
Certified copies of:
Academic, professional certificates, and Transcripts.
Letters of appointment showing evidence of university-level teaching experience.
National ID or passport.
Testimonials and other supporting documents.
A certificate of recognition for foreign degrees (where applicable).
