Part Time Lecturer - Geotechnical Engineering

The University is seeking to recruit a qualified Part Time Lecturer in Geotechnical Engineering. This role is crucial for providing academic instruction and comprehensive support to students within the university's distance learning framework, ensuring high-quality education in the subject area.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

For appointment to this grade, candidates MUST meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualification: An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University.
• Alternative Qualification (Special Cases): A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University, coupled with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level, AND registration in good standing for PhD in the relevant field.
• Digital Literacy: Must be computer literate with the ability to handle digital content (required for all posts).
• Online Support: Must possess the ability to support student learning online (specific requirement for part-time lecturers).
