We are currently seeking a qualified Part-Time Lecturer in the field of Epidemiology to join our academic team.
Responsibilities
Delivering high-quality lectures and facilitating learning in Epidemiology-related course units.
Preparing course outlines, instructional materials, and assessments.
Marking and grading examinations and assignments in a timely manner.
Providing academic mentorship and guidance to students.
Maintaining accurate student academic records.
Engaging in research and publication activities (particularly for those involved in postgraduate instruction).
Requirements
Qualifications
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Epidemiology or a relevant field from a recognized University;
OR
A Master’s degree in Epidemiology or a relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or Industry experience.
Professional Requirements
Demonstrable evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be considered an added advantage (especially for postgraduate teaching).
