Bomet University College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Part-Time Lecturer - English Language Education. Successful candidates will support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and student mentorship.
Responsibilities and Duties
Support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students.
Prepare and deliver course materials and lectures for English Language Education.
Facilitate classroom learning, discussion, and student engagement.
Mentor and guide students in their academic and research pursuits.
Support the academic and professional development goals of the institution.
Requirements for Appointment
Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at the university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.
Evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.
Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE)/National Qualification Authority (NQA).
