The University College is seeking to recruit qualified individuals for part-time teaching positions in the field of Electronics.
Responsibilities
Deliver lectures and practical instructions to students in the field of Electronics.
Prepare and update course materials and teaching aids.
Conduct student assessments, including setting and marking examinations and assignments.
Supervise student projects and practical work within the electronics department.
Provide mentorship and guidance to students to foster professional and ethical growth.
Engage in research and publish findings in refereed journals (required for postgraduate teaching).
Contribute to the development and review of the electronics curriculum to maintain industry relevance.
Requirements for Appointment
Academic Qualifications
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years University teaching or industry experience.
Professional Requirements
Evidence of teaching experience at University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (essential for postgraduate teaching).
