Role Overview
MNUC is seeking qualified individuals to serve as Part-Time Lecturers in the field of Educational Psychology. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction to students, conducting assessments, and contributing to the academic excellence of the University College.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver lectures and facilitate learning for students in Educational Psychology.
Develop course materials, including lesson plans and reading lists.
Administer exams, mark assignments, and provide feedback to students.
Maintain academic records and monitor student progress.
(For postgraduate levels) Provide research guidance and contribute to academic publications.
Adhere to the institution's academic policies and standards.
Requirements for Appointment
Qualifications:
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Educational Psychology or a relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in Educational Psychology or a relevant field with at least two (2) years of University teaching or industry experience.
Professional Requirements:
Evidence of teaching experience at the University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage, particularly for postgraduate teaching assignments.
