Job Description
The Open University of Kenya is seeking highly qualified and motivated individuals for the position of Part-Time Lecturer specializing in Educational Policy and Planning. Responsibilities and Expectations
The lecturer will be responsible for providing academic instruction in Educational Policy and Planning. A strong emphasis is placed on digital literacy and the ability to effectively deliver content and support students in a fully online learning environment.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
For appointment to this grade, candidates MUST meet the following requirements:
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University.
OR A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years teaching experience at university level and currently registered in good standing for a PhD in the relevant field.
Be highly computer literate with the ability to handle digital content required for distance learning (for all posts).
Demonstrated ability to effectively support student learning online (for part-time lecturers).
