Bomet University College is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Part-Time Lecturer - Economics. Successful applicants will be expected to support the University's core mandate of teaching, training, and mentorship of students in the field of Economics.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Support the University's core mandate through effective teaching and instruction.\n* Conduct training and facilitate learning for students in Economics.\n* Provide mentorship and academic guidance to students.\n\n### Requirements for Appointment\nTo qualify for appointment to the Bomet University Service, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:\n* Possess a minimum of a PhD degree in Economics or a relevant field from a recognized university.\n* Have at least two (2) years of teaching experience at university level. This must be evidenced by documentation such as letters of appointment or contracts from previous university engagements.\n* Evidence of having published in credible refereed journals.\n* Applicants with foreign academic qualifications must provide recognition and verification certificates from the Commission for University Education (CUE) or National Qualification Authority (NQA).
All interested candidates must submit two (2) hard copies of their application, comprising the following:\n\n1. A formal application letter specifying the applicant's area of specialization, academic qualifications, work experience, and current place of employment.\n2. A detailed Curriculum Vitae clearly outlining personal details, academic and professional background, teaching experience, and any other relevant information.\n\nCertified copies of:\n* Academic, professional certificates and Transcripts.\n* Letters of appointment showing evidence of university-level teaching experience.\n* National ID or passport.\n* Testimonials and other supporting documents.\n* A certificate of recognition for foreign degrees (where applicable).\n\nThe copies of the application should be sent via registered mail or courier clearly marked 'Part-time Application' on the envelope to the address below.
