Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures in Econometrics to students.
Develop course outlines and teaching materials in line with university standards.
Set, invigilate, and mark student examinations and assessments.
Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Participate in departmental meetings and academic reviews where necessary.
Requirements for Appointment
Qualifications:
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant field from a recognized University; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years University teaching / Industry experience.
Professional Requirements:
Evidence of teaching experience at University level and/or relevant industry experience.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (essential for postgraduate teaching).
