We are currently seeking a qualified Part-Time Lecturer in Econometrics to join our academic team and contribute to our state-of-the-art teaching and research environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver high-quality lectures and instruction in Econometrics to undergraduate and/or postgraduate students.
Develop, review, and update course materials, syllabi, and reading lists to ensure they remain current and market-relevant.
Assess student performance through the design and grading of assignments, examinations, and practical projects.
Provide academic guidance, mentorship, and support to students to enhance their learning outcomes.
Engage in research and contribute to academic publications (required for postgraduate level teaching).
Participate in departmental activities and maintain academic standards set by the University College.
Qualifications and Requirements
A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the relevant field from a recognized university; OR
A Master’s degree in the relevant field with at least two (2) years of university teaching or industry experience.
Evidence of teaching experience at the university level and/or relevant industry experience is mandatory.
Registration with relevant professional bodies where applicable.
Evidence of research and publications in refereed journals will be an added advantage (essential for postgraduate teaching).
Candidates must provide proof of prior academic appointments (letters of appointment as a lecturer).
